​Yolanda Goulet Marsolais is the artist of Marsolais Vitro Design.  I've been practicing stained glass for 25 years, and professionally for over 15 years. After learning the craft as a hobby, I did an apprenticeship at Montreal's Studio du Verre, the largest stained glass studio in Eastern Canada, where I honed my skills in traditional stained glass fabrication and restoration, and indeed where I got to work on important restorations and residential projects.  

I continue to this day to strive for excellence in this noble craft.

"The nature of stained glass is to channel light through an assemblage of coloured glass 

in order to create an atmosphere or to tell as story.

It is the colors, textures, and the light in nature that are the source for the direction and themes of my work. Also a painter, the shapes and textures of my panels sometimes evoke 

those in a painter's canvas.  

I endeavor to create stained glass panels in which the story is revealed by the image created through the combination of glass and the ever changing light 

of the environment in which it will reside."
